Description
Narrator Allan Melvin is an American actor with a long history of sitcom and voice-over work.
Fans of fifties television will remember him as Corporal
Henshaw, Sergeant Bilko's right hand man on The Phil Silvers Show. In the sixties, he played Staff Sergeant Charley Hacker for four seasons on Gomer Pyle and provided the voice of cartoon character Magilla Gorilla. Melvin also played Alice's boyfriend, Sam the butcher, on The Brady Bunch and Barney Hefner on All in the Family.
