Description
Shirley Temple,
one of the most successful child stars in the history of film, narrates
this Litte Nipper adaptation of Dumbo. Based on Helen Aberson's
book of the same name, Dumbo was released in 1941 and was
the fourth full length Walt Disney animated
film. The film's musical score by Frank Churchill and Oliver Wallace won Oscars for them
both. The orchestra and chorus on this recording
were directed by Paul Smith, who spent much of his life working at Disney
as a composer for many animated and live-action scores.
